Carlos received a Creative Venture grant for marketing and development for Vibrato, his apparel brand.

This is his second award from the foundation. In 2015, he received a Professional Development Grant to develop a business plan for his fitness and active wear clothing and fashion accessories line.
​
Carlos lives and works in New Orleans.
