Product development and marketing for her jewelry line JuClay.

Julia received a Professional & Entrepreneurial Grant to support the product development and marketing for her ceramic jewelry business, JuClay. This is her second award from the foundation. She received a Creative Work Grant in 2016 to support the start-up of JuClay.
Julia has extensive art mentoring experience in the New Orleans area, including developing an art curriculum that includes jewelry design with polymer clay. She also worked at the Rosetree Blown Glass Studio and Gallery in New Orleans from 2014-2017.
Julia was a YAYA Summer Intern from 2011-2014. She continued working with the YAYA community as an Urban Heroes Mentor from 2014-2015.
