Averi Matthews

Averi Matthews received a Scholarship from Ana & Adeline Foundation to continue her arts education at Delgado Community College. She is majoring in Visual Communication/Fine Arts. This is her first award from the foundation.

Averi is a teaching artist who has worked with students across New Orleans, teaching them to express themselves creatively through art. She was a resident artist at Cow House Studio in Ireland in 2010 and spent three weeks in Paris on a residency in 2012.
​
Averi was a YAYA Artist from 2009-2014.
