Channel Thomas received a Creative Venture grant to attend classes at the Sewing Arts Center in Los Angeles. The grant also provides start-up funds for her wearable art business, Channel Guice Collective.

This is her second award from the foundation. In 2011, she received an award to produce a pop-up bookmaking workshop for children in New Iberia, LA.

​

Channel is Los Angeles-based teacher and fiber artist.
