Quinton Gilmore received an Infusion Grant from Ana & Adeline Foundation to develop a new series of work, titled The Hood Has Spoken. Quinton will conduct a series of interviews with members in his neighborhood, gathering their responses about the developments and changes in his community. These interviews will be the basis for photography, video and painting montages to show what the nieghbor(hood) is saying.

This is his first award from the foundation.

Quinton was a YAYA Artist from 2006-2008. He continues to work with YAYA as a professional artist mentor in his role as Urban Heroes & Mixed Media Teaching Artist.
