2024-2025 Grant Enhance business skills through mentorship development with professional brand owners at EntreBeliever
Scholarship 2018-2019
Darryl White is a creative optimist based in Atlanta, GA. He has worked as a hired graphic designer for over 20 years, working on logos, brand identity solutions, concept consumer packaging, creative typography, digital graphics and print solutions. However, White is not limited to digital and graphic design. He also works in traditional mediums and enjoys being in a studio where he can relish the process of creating. Threaded throughout much of his work is the idea of using color to shift perspectives and evoke emotions. His focus is on expanding customary views of creativity, challenging fine-art paradigms and breaking rules.
White will be using this grant to promote, support, and grow his new consumer brand (Keep Thanking God™) online and in public spaces. He will allocate a portion of the funds to his continued business mentorship with industry entrepreneurs. This will assist him in reaching his goal of using the skills he has learned in the graphic design field to market his consumer products. Keep Thankin God™ embodies the fusion of faith & discipline with skincare, fragrance and apparel. It is an affirming and inspirational company, inspired by faith, celebrating the glory of God through the beauty of plant-based natural skincare. Their meticulously curated range of nourishing butter and oil products are crafted to nurture skin health, fostering a deeper connection with believers and their skincare rituals. “I am building a platform that will allow me to tell my journey with art, design, education and commerce. I want a studio, a creative home, a village and community,” says White.
Darryl White first joined the YAYA Guild in 1989.
