Lyric Lee is entering her junior year at the University of New Orleans where she is pursuing a B.A.. She is a multimedia artist working in several different media including drawing, animation, digital illustration, and painting. Sometimes she enjoys bringing her practice onto fabric and wood. “I create art to tell stories, share experiences or send messages, and sometimes just for fun,” she explains. While her art practice is mainly for herself, she does desire to spark curiosity in her audience and help them understand the importance art plays in every facet of life.
Lee has big dreams of writing and illustrating her own books, developing video games, voice acting, songwriting, and opening a business and a school. She is certified in the beginner level of Adobe Photoshop and has an industry-based certification in the fundamentals of JavaScript, functional programming, and web development.
Lyric Lee graduated from Morris Jeff Community High School in 2024. She is an active member of the YAYA Guild which she first joined in 2018.
